Is there a way to stop a file from opening when I "save as" another file type?

    Example. I do all my work on excel, and I have to save certain tabs as pdf. When I save it as pdf in sharepoint, it opens up a tab after. When I save as pdf on desktop, it opens up adobe. Can I disable both?
