Just upgraded to 2013 and let's assume I know nothing about SP at all.

We have our profile photos uploaded to Sharepoint. (Don't ask, there was something about 2007 not working really well with AD photo imports or something.) They live here.

    https://intranet.domain.org/Images1/staffphotos (yes, that's https)

I need to be able to tell the UPS to look there for the photos and not AD.

Additionally, we had a test set up prior to the production migration and I believe everywhere these photos are referenced (contact web parts, MySites/profiles) they're referencing an old/incorrect address.

    http://sharepoint.domain.com

    I've tried running this

    Update-SPProfilePhotoStore -MySiteHostLocation "https://intranet.(domain).org/Images1/staffphotos" -OldBaseUri "http://sharepoint.(domain).org:80/MySite/User Photos/Profile Pictures" -NewBaseUri "https://intranet.(domain).org/Images1/staffphotos"

    and get this

    Update-SPProfilePhotoStore : Cannot find an SPSite object with Id or Url: https://intranet.(domain).org/Images1/staffphotos. At line:1 char:1 + Update-SPProfilePhotoStore -MySiteHostLocation "https://intranet.(domain).org/Imag ... + ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ + CategoryInfo : InvalidData: (Microsoft.Offic...ofilePhotoStore:SPCmdletUserProfilePhotoStore) [Update-S PProfilePhotoStore], SPCmdletPipeBindException + FullyQualifiedErrorId : Microsoft.Office.Server.UserProfiles.PowerShell.SPCmdletUserProfilePhotoStore

    Any ideas?

    Again, I'm not an expert.
